Youth Classes

Sundays at 11:15am starting April 14

12 Week Sessions

Ages 8-14

 

These classes are 45 minutes in length and focus on learning new skills, and short, fun workouts.

They will include basic body weight movements as well as other fun equipment like rings, training bars, medicine balls, ladders, and boxes.

12-Week Program

Wednesday 4pm Session – April 10 – June 26

Sunday 11:15am Session – April 14 – June 30

Fundraiser Lifting Competition

Saturday May 4th

Fundraiser for Roger Neilson House

With the support of your community and coaches, test your Squat, Deadlift, and Bench Press and earn a certificate showcasing your total weight lifted overall!

There will be fun prizes for multiple categories such as:

  • Heaviest Overall Lifts
  • Best Costume
  • Best Hype Master (who cheers the hardest – we promise we won’t automatically give it to Steph Dadzie)

Teen Pelvic Wellness Pop-Up:
Pelvic Floor and Periods

April 23rd at 7:00-8:00pm at 332 Richmond Road 

Understanding what the pelvic floor is and how it functions is vital for your health!

Created and taught by local pelvic health Physiotherapists, Natalie Morris & Nicole Petis, this 60 minute workshop is aimed to:

– Increase knowledge and awareness about the pelvic floor and its function
– Learn about the basics of your cycle
– Learn how to chose the best option for flow management and
– Learn how you can begin to create ease of common symptoms with simple self-care tools and strategies.

All are welcome to participate!

Please arrive a few minutes early. Bring an open mind as well as any questions you might have about pelvic health and physiotherapy (Q&A time included).

In an effort to bring accessible health education and care to our local communities, these Pop Ups are Pay What You Can (with a recommended Donation of $10 or $20/Family). All proceeds will be going to Bloom’s Pay It Forward Fund, which provides subsidized pelvic health Physiotherapy to low income, new Canadian, and young or Indigenous women through the perinatal period. Thank you for your generosity.
