We are excited to spotlight a committed and consistent member of the LYB Family.  Below Nathan explains his fitness journey in his own words:
Here are the questions:
"I am a 40-year-old proud father of 3 beautiful girls Iza (7), Alexi (4), and Charlie (2). I am also an entrepreneur and small business owner. So, it is safe to say I live a busy life. Stress does play a part in my day-to-day lifestyle as well as increased anxiety due to the recent covid 19 pandemic (I think everyone can relate to this).
Exercise is a saviour for me. Not because I necessarily crave it. It is more so that I need it mentally and physically to help me cope with life in general. Trust me, I am a horrible person to be around without exercise LOL. 
My biggest issue with exercise is time. We all need more time in a day, and I find if I don’t have enough time on any day, exercise is the first thing that suffers and as a result, so does my mental health, my business, and my family.
I was lucky enough to meet Kate early this year (2023). We were discussing ways that we could collaborate as small business owners and I was so intrigued by her philosophies on fitness and health. It was a no-brainer to join her community of health and meet the rest of her team. I haven’t looked back since.
[My upcoming goals are to] Let Kate and the team take my fitness to the next level. I don’t need to think about the programming, my goals, or anything. It is nice to turn up and just listen and execute."

✨Two Weeks of Testing✨ ✨ What is it? After a ✨Two Weeks of Testing✨
✨ What is it?
After a week of deload now is time to test so you have a benchmark for your progress. We will be testing 1 Rep Max for movements such as squat, deadlift, and strict press as well as your max effort on the bike and rower.
✨ Why is it Important?
By testing where you are currently with your training, it gives you a benchmark for your progress. We will be having further testing in 4-6 weeks to measure your success
✨ When is it Happening?
October 1st - October 14th
All Classes at Love Your Body Fitness (modified for family classes)
✨ What's Next?!
What happens after the testing?! 
Now we train to work towards new PRs.

✨Deload Week✨ ✨ What is it? A deload week i ✨Deload Week✨
✨ What is it?
A deload week is programmed with lower weights and decreased intensity. You want to be working closer to 70-80% of your max effort during this period. It can be mentally challenging to pull back on the intensity of your workouts but it has a lot of performance and recovery benefits.
✨ Why is it Important?
Deload weeks are vital to avoid performance plateaus, decreased energy levels and overworking or overtraining. The deload week is designed to help you recover and come back stronger the following week
✨ When is it Happening?
September 24th - September 30th
