Nicole Scantlebury, How did you start your fitness journey?
I don’t really feel like I ever started a journey into fitness. It was just apart of my life. As a child I was always into movement and sports, but to me at the time I was simply playing.
Why do you love being a part of LYB?
I love being part of LYB, because they meet you were you are, without expectations of where you should be. We work as a team to support people and pushing them to do their best.
What is your favourite style of fitness?
Prior to the pandemic I would have said picking up all the heavy things. Since then it has become whatever my body needs in the moment. Whether that is mobility and breath-work or strength training and HIIT.
Best advice for new members?
Consistency is key! Set a goal of 15-20 minutes minimum for yourself each day and be active. And yes you do have the time, there are 1440 mins in a day…it isn’t selfish its self-full!
